Mobile & Powerbank Plan Off-grid tent strategy & rotation
The 2-Powerbank Rotation Strategy

Camp Pitches are Non-Electric: No wall sockets at tent pitches.

Powerbank #1 (Active): In daypack charging phone on the move.

Powerbank #2 (Reserve/Top-up): Plugged into a wall outlet inside The Stables or Tack Room during Lunch (13:15) or Dinner (18:00).

Multi-port UK Plug: Keep one in her day bag so she can charge both a powerbank and her phone from a single socket.

Cold-Weather Tent Tip (Crucial) Scotland Night

Night temperatures drop to 7°C–10°C. Cold drains lithium-ion batteries rapidly if left on the groundsheet.

Action: Place the phone and powerbanks inside a small pouch inside the sleeping bag overnight to keep them warm and full.

Signal Tip: Switch to Low Power Mode and disable 5G (lock to 4G) to stop antenna drain in the woods.
